I’m always regretful that autumn makes people sad, because I think it’s a visually stunning season.
This photo is fantastic. How do you keep the periphery out of focus? Is that how you captured the image? Or did you create that effect in Photoshop?

No blur effect at all in Photoshop. It’s from using a really really good lens and then exploiting that lens for effect.
I did some color work in Camera Raw (Photoshop plug-in) to add a subtle vignette, but that is all.
